The short version. Exactly does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no trackers. The game does not need an internet connection to work.
Exactly saves your game progress on your own device only:
This information is stored locally on your device using standard device storage. We never receive it, we cannot see it, and it is not sent to us or to any third party. Deleting the app removes it from your device.
Note: your phone's own operating system may include app data in the device backups you have enabled (for example an iOS device backup to your personal iCloud account). That is a backup of your own device, made by your own device, into your own account — we have no access to it, and you control it in your device's backup settings. On Android, Exactly disables system backup of its data entirely.
The daily challenge has a Share button. When you tap it, your device's own sharing feature opens so you can choose where to send your result. The text is created on your device, and we never see it or receive a copy. If your device's share sheet is unavailable or does not complete, the result text is copied to your clipboard instead so you can paste it yourself.
Exactly is suitable for all ages and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because the app collects no data whatsoever from anyone, it collects no data from children under 13.
Exactly asks you for no permissions — there is no prompt to accept, because the game needs no access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or files. It uses your device's vibration for gameplay feedback, which you can turn off in the app's settings.
The app's two typefaces (Fredoka and Nunito) are included inside the app itself under the SIL Open Font License. They are not downloaded, so the game needs no internet connection and contacts no font service while you play.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds a feature that needs data — this page will be updated with a new "last updated" date, and any material change will be described in the app's release notes before it takes effect.
